Thank You Cards

I wanted to send out some Thank You cards for gifts received over the Christmas Holiday, but I didn't want to spend all day making them. I was suddenly inspired by a set that Stampin' Up! is currently offering. The Fancy Friends Kit is a quick simple way to create your own cards without having to reinvent the wheel. It's simply wonderful. I love it.

However...I do not have the Fancy Friends Kit. So, I pulled together some of the supplies I DO have and created these beauties. I didn't have the smaller note cards (5" x 3 1/2" size, but that is what I would PREFER to use for these.)**

Paper: Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes (107311)**

Card Set

Check out these cuties!! This is one of the gifts I gave to the girls in my family this year. They are 3 x 3 and oh, so cute!!! I wrapped them up in a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1" pizza box. It was even better than I imagined. I ended up gifting a set of these to a fellow SU! Demonstrator for our Southern AZ demonstrator gift exchange. It was a pretty involved project, as I used several different stamp sets, ink colors and embellishments, but I just LOVE how they turned out.  I would love to make you a set. If you are interested in purchasing a set, I am selling them for $10/set (plus shipping, if I need to mail them to you). Send me an email to stampinwithlucinda@gmail.com to place your order! (Did I mention that I think they're really cute?!)

It's All in the Details...

I have had a LOT of fun this year with "Crafting Up! My Christmas" I picked a reasonable amount of supplies from the SU! Idea Book and Catalog as well as some things from the Holiday Mini and got to work. It was so much fun to allow my creative juices to flow and see what I came up with from day to day.
A few of the things I won't be able to share until December 26 because some of my readers will be unwrapping the goodness on Christmas Day, but there are few "extras" that I am able to share right away.

This kit from the Holiday Mini was GENIUS!! It allowed me to wrap up just a few cookies for each person and gift sensibly (instead of feeling like I had to give the whole batch of cookies, in a cookie tin, to one person).
Included in the kit was everything I needed to do the job (save for the cookies). I had a lot fun putting it all together.

The other fun thing I learned how to do was to make these bows (compliments of Stampin Up! and the insert they provided with my order)

If you are interested in directions, leave a comment with your email address and I'll send 'em your way!!

Enjoy your Saturday!!!

A Handmade Christmas

Now that my Christmas Cards have all been mailed, I can share with you the three designs that I chose for my cards this year.
